The Other Songs were honoured to host a surprise duet by Yusuf / Cat Stevens and Tom Odell, who performed an incredible rendition of "Father & Son" to close out The Other Songs Live 2024 on a high note. The Other Songs Live is a showcase for songwriters, featuring performances and interviews by the people behind the songs we all know and love. Over the past five years, the showcase has hosted over 300 songwriters, with the last two at The London Palladium, in partnership with The Ivors Academy. Renowned songwriters such as Bernie Taupin, Rodney Jerkins and RAYE have shared the stage with emerging songwriters to help raise funds for The BRIT School, The Ivors Academy Trust and Nordoff & Robbins.
