Perhaps you like to believe in what I will call levels of friendship, which would not be surprising, most people are of that mind. We become closer to people by revealing more of ourselves to others over time, the more they know about us, and we about them, the more we would consider them a friend. But I will place this question before you for your contemplation, who would you consider a greater friend? The person you have known for many years, one you might consider a close confidant, though unrepentant, or a person you just met, who it is easy to discern is indeed a brother or sister in Christ?
