Coco Medley - Pixar Coco | NTU Guitar Ensemble

Performed by NTU Guitar Ensemble at Nocturne 2023, held at NAFA Lee Foundation Theatre on 2 April 2023. Arranged by NTUGE guitarist Dustin Erhard, this medley combines four iconic songs from the 2017 animated Disney-Pixar film, “Coco.” “Coco” tells the story of young Miguel, who, amidst trying to uncover the truth behind his family’s ban on music, is accidentally transported into the Land of the Dead. The four songs chosen speak not only to the rich cultural essence of the film, but also of its emotional journey, as Miguel navigates the underworld while repairing the broken history of his family. Fortunately, Miguel’s story ends on a bright note, as he successfully finds his way back home and restores music and truth back into his family’s lives.
