This Solar Energy Expo & Rally (SEER) is the second in the Pioneer Interview series, talking with Keith Rutledge and Jonathan Frey on the inception of SEER in 1990 in Willits California. SEER was inspired by a visit to the Oregon Country Fair in 1989 with Richard and Karen Perez who published " Home Power Magazine". When Phil returned to Willits he gathered together a group of 8 core people to begin preparing for SEER in 1990. The SEER event in 1990 was so successful, that the group began preparation for SEER 1991. This video is the second installment of an ongoing series of Solar Pioneers who developed the Solar Energy Expo & Rally( SEER). These events, from 1990 to 1995, promoted solar energy, hydroelectric, wind, and hydrogen technologies. SEER was an event dedicated to entertainment, education, and fun. Our energy future, is powered by the sun.
