A Brief History of Sid Haig!

Sid was born Sidney Eddie Mosesian on July 14, 1939, in Fresno, California. He was the only child of Araxie “Roxie” Bertha and Haig Mosesian. With his imposing 6 foot 4-inch body and a huge expressive face, he craved out a 4 decade-long acting career, usually typecast as the villain, scary, yet often humorous. He was one of those incredible actors who could elevate even the cheesiest movie into something worth watching. But, as a trained actor who took his profession very seriously, he became frustrated with being typecast. In 1992, he left acting yet, kept busy in local theater and as a certified hypnotherapist. In 2003, his career was resurrected, bringing him more fame than he could have imagined becoming an icon in the horror community. His films include Spider Baby (1968), Pit Stop (1969), The Big Doll House (1971), Beyond Atlantis (1973), House of 1000 Corpses (2003), Bone Tomahawk (2015), 3 from Hell (2019), and many more films and TV shows!
