“There is a world that runs beside this one.” This cinematic mini-film presents Parallel World by contemporary artist Inna Orlik — a visual meditation on the layered nature of identity, instinct, and existence. Within the composition, human and animal forms intertwine in a dreamlike web of movement and symbolism. Two figures merge and dissolve into one another, suggesting the coexistence of multiple selves. Around them appear archetypal presences — the fox, the falcon, the deer — embodying instinct, perception, and sensitivity. Rather than separate beings, they emerge as extensions of the inner world. Through expressive brushwork, jewel-toned glazes, and layered transparency, Orlik constructs a realm where boundaries collapse and transformation is constant. Cool blues and violets blend with warm golds and fiery tones, creating a dynamic balance between emotion and instinct, stillness and motion. Parallel World suggests that reality is never singular. For every visible dimension, another runs quietly alongside it — shaped by memory, intuition, and the unseen forces that guide human experience. The film mirrors this atmosphere through calm, immersive pacing, inviting viewers to pause and explore the subtle dialogue between the many layers of being.
