Beach Thoughts: It's one of the nicest beaches I've been to. White sand beaches, and super clear water (could see it from the plane) A nice stretch to walk on, and very calm. ...one might say too calm, if you like playing in the rougher waves. Diamond Club Thoughts: It probably wouldn't have been worth it if I didn't get it on sale Butlers are assigned based on room location When in 1st room 403, couldn't really get anything booked or get help Room flooded due to drainage issue, I had to put a lot of effort to get it sorted myself (it wasted a good day and was quite unpleasant) When we swapped to 208, she got everything booked almost instantly. Experience can very quite a lot, and we only had 3 nights left to try. The rooms for diamond club members are at the end of the resort, so plan on lots of walking (about 5-10 mins) Free excursion included (either snorkelling or a round of golf), didn't know till 2nd butler mentioned it. (need to book early though) Free wifi (that we had to continually logged back into, but worked fine) I was unable to use room service as there's no real instructions/explanation when you get to the resort. (there's a number that's on their "login" page that you need to find - before it auto changes on you or possibly on the TV) I went to the diamond club lounge where all the butlers were chilling, and I felt very unwelcomed. I wouldn't waste money on it again (even on sale). Food Thoughts: If you compared to Mexico, it's average. I've been to a different resort, so I know this one is miles better then the usual Cuba resorts. They actually have salt and pepper around, and most the food is seasoned well.
