Head writer Vince Russo jumped from the WWF to WCW in 1999. He was expected to turn around the show and get back on top in the ratings war against Vince Mcmahon. What we got here was an insane 12 matches! Most of them were short and bad. The Outsiders did a running joke throughout the show that they had been kicked out of the arena but they were sneaking around drinking cough medicine for some reason. Perhaps to appeal to the youth demographic who were keen drinkers of cough medicine. There was also a weird Buff Bagwell shoot promo and most importantly...THE DEBUT OF A WILD SLAPNUTS APPEARS!
