Why Off-Road / Overland Trailers Are Junk! Let Me Explain Why I'm Getting Rid of Mine.(click bait)

I took the time to build my own trailer from scratch. It took me about a month to build it using a retired military trailer and about $2500 in cash. Besides the hours and money, it was a pretty fun build. But soon after using it a few times the fairytale has ended. Its worked very well, just as well as I could have designed it. I designed it to be simple and particle and easy to pull behind nearly any vehicle. And it does that and everything I want it too. It's just a pain. I use a lot more gas when I tow it behind my Land Cruiser. I can't open the tailgate on the Land Cruiser to get to my fridge when its connected. And loading and unloading it is annoying. Mainly because I have to keep it outside in the elements, and I do not want anyone to steal the stuff out of if. I thought it would be more convenient. But it's become more of a hassle than its worth. It's far easier and better to just use my truck. Without the trailer connected to it, its way more convenient for the family and maneuverability is much better without a trailer connected to an off-road vehicle.
