Day trip to Taquile Island : An island on the Peruvian side of Lake Titicaca

The visit to Taquile Island was the second part of our day trip from Puno. Firs we explored the floating totora-reed islands. The boat will drop you on one side of the island and you will have few hours to make your way up and spend sometime with the Taquileños who speak Puno Quechua. You will get a chance to take lots of pictures and explore the main part of the town followed by an amazing lunch.
