Presenting a patient with post traumatic partial loss of lower lip and vermilion.The oral mucosa and vestibule behind the defect was intact. We raised a superiorly based flap from the intact oral mucosa, then brought the lower end of the flap external side of lip by a small opening made in the orbicularis oris muscle and was everted on the vermilion defect.The lip defect was repaired by local mobilization of adjacent skin on either sides. Similarly the oral mucosa defect was closed. Narrow thin strip of mucosa was excised from the lower part of everted flap which prevented the formation of small orocutaneous fistula on the lower part of reconstructed vermillion.
