Kilbrittain village and hill walk - West Cork Weekends

Now that Spring is here, the sun is out and our travel restrictions have been lifted there is no better time to go out and explore and re visit some of the West Cork hikes, trails and nature walks. We are going to do the best we can to show them off! We started off in the lovely town of Kilbrittain and with our choice of walks (THE CASTLE WALK RED 3.7km,THE ESTUARY LOOP BLUE-7km, THE RATHCLAREN LOOP YELLOW -9km and the THE KILN WALK GREEN -14.5 km) decided to try them all and nearly made our way back to Timoleague. All walks are easy and great for families with little or no traffic and the sounds of a gentle stream nearby. Kilbrittain is a beautiful village with a fascinating history with plenty to see including the Fin Whale skeleton, Dower house and Kilbrittain castle.
