Chasing early season teal is very new to me so I'm still trying to figure out exactly what spots they like the best and why, but one thing I've quickly figured out about them is the shallower the water the better! On this morning I headed out to a public marsh to try duck hunting an extremely shallow and muddy bay that I had seen a bunch of teal land in the day before. The action picked up pretty quickly with small flocks of teal, mallards, and spoonies buzzing around the marsh. I had Rue along with me on this hunt and before long she was busting through the mud to retrieve her first ducks of the season. Thanks for watching and I hope you enjoy!
