We’re covering everything from writing simple but effective piano chord progressions using G♭ minor 7 and B minor 7 inversions, to building a full groove with classic house elements like a 909 kick, bright hi-hats, claps with gated reverb, and saturated basslines. I’ll show you how I design my own house piano sounds using the Arturia CP-70 as a base, layering effects like chorus, flanger, saturation, and formant shifting to create that warm, retro vibe.
