To begin with Tascope is my design of affordable and effective video laryngoscope designed for Indian population. This was a case of A young age male, presented with difficulties in swallowing and change of voice, difficulty in speech, neck pain, diagnosed to have infection with abscess formation in posterior pharyngeal walk with severe Laryngeal edema, posted for drainage of abscess, In the video the first two clips shows CT scan imaging of same patient, sagittal and coronal view showing severe Laryngeal edema, the following clip shows real time video of intubation from TASCOPE. routine induction, nasal prongs with 5-6 liters of oxygen applied for apnoeic oxygenation, laryngoscopy done with Tascope, you can see the massive edema and swollen structures, larynx was difficult to visualise but after a few adjustments and suction I could visualise larynx and passed bougie and then railroading of tube.
