Urban Macro Photography - More Imaginative Worlds in Small Details

New photography worlds reveal themselves, when paying attention to small details! Patina, wear and tear, and decay of man-made objects often create amazing details, colors and textures that allows the imagination to soar. My second visit on the location - when the light was much more suitable for the kind of photography I was after. Due to the overcast sky there were no harsh shadows this time. Although I came here for the old tanks, I couldn't help but take a detour to the demolition site. Almost everything was gone, but I discovered interesting "trash" that fired my imagination (from snake pit to H.R. Giger). The tanks presented themselves in the most beautiful colors and textures. In the sometimes very tight conditions, the small Ricoh GR II camera was once again a great help. Editing the "Planet" photo inspired me to transform some tank images into a "Planet Patina" universe.
