Bravely Default - Destroying the Crystal

During Chapters 5-8, you can destroy any of the crystals if you just keep mashing the button during the Rite of Awakening. Doing so will lock you into getting the normal ending. But why do this when you can just go for the true ending? Well, there are a few benefits for going for the normal ending. First off, getting the normal ending will let you save a clear data file that will place you right before destroying the crystal so no progress was lost and you keep anything you got during the normal ending. Getting the normal ending will let you unlock and access the final dungeon and the bonus dungeon early, allowing you to get some pretty good equipment early which can potentially make the rest of the true ending easier. You also get Agnès's Vestal Garb costume as a reward for getting the normal ending as well. I am doing this in Chapter 6, so I will have all that final dungeon and bonus dungeon gear for Chapter 7 and 8. This video is done on Hard difficulty and I am choosing not to use Special Moves.
