Episode 5 opens with the morning after Rain and Phayu’s first night together, and honestly… the softness immediately sets the tone 🫠 Phayu is up exercising like the unreal man he is, while Rain quietly goes home. Phayu finds the empty bed, immediately clocks what happened, and decides it’s time to go “punish” him. Except Rain is at home with a fever, which turns punishment into caretaking real fast 🏠🌡️ Phayu goes to Rain’s house, and we finally meet Rain’s mother, who gets along way too well with him. She clearly likes Phayu and feels like the kind of grounding, positive influence Rain needs. Watching Phayu slip so naturally into that space was very “future son-in-law” coded 👀💖 Then comes the emotional whiplash. Phayu tells Rain that he’s run out of time to make him fall in love with him. We’re all bracing for heartbreak… only for Phayu to say it’s Rain’s turn now.And Rain?Rain is already there. Completely. Fully. No hesitation.Cue collective screaming 😭✨ Back at school, Ple wants to talk to Rain. Sky is happy for his friend, clearly seeing that Rain finally got the person he wanted. Except… Rain no longer cares about Ple at all. Plot twist: Ple doesn’t want Rain anyway. She wants Phayu’s phone number because she likes him. Rain refuses, gets ridiculously jealous, and spirals because Phayu is just too perfect. Honestly relatable 😤 Later, during a cinema date, Sky runs into Rain and Phayu. They talk, and Rain finally comes clean, telling Sky that he’s with Phayu. Sky calmly says he already figured it out and was just waiting for Rain to tell him.Rain is visibly relieved, and later tells Phayu that if Sky hadn’t accepted them, he would’ve made Sky accept him anyway.Phayu hearing that Rain isn’t scared to openly claim their relationship? That smile said everything 🥹💗 We also get our first glimpse of the villain in Rain and Phayu’s story. The idiot who talks about fight club.First rule of fight club: don’t talk about fight club. This man missed the memo entirely 🚩 The episode ends with Rain staying over again, and Phayu singing to him about their relationship. It’s intimate, gentle, and honestly breathtaking. His voice is beautiful, and the moment feels like a calm before the storm 🎶💞 Episode 5 is pure sweetness, which means we all know what’s coming next.The trauma episode is probably around the corner, and then we’ll move into Sky’s story. I’m dreading it and desperately waiting for it at the same time.I know I’m going to suffer… but Prapai and Sky’s story is incredible (at least in the Japanese version), so I’m ready. Barely.
