When you get to the location, the Abbot is bound and held captive, so you'll need to defeat all of the guards in order to help him. This is doable, but it's a tricky one with random AI movements and proximity. However, with a little old-school Assassin's Creed knowhow you can get the job done and help the Abbot out of the trouble he's found himself in with the Ox on the warpath. Assassin's Creed Shadows is the feudal Japan entry in the series and sees you playing as Naoe to begin with, but you get to unlock Yasuke a little later on. It eventually expands, but it takes a while for Yasuke to get in on the action. It's a slow burn, so it's going to be interesting to see if it can deliver the kind of impact that Assassin's Creed Valhalla and Odyssey did, as well as Mirage to a lesser extent. The biggest difference is the lack of well-known landscape and architectural features that have made the other games so interesting. I'm still exploring, but puzzles and hidden items are also a bit disappointing, so ACS isn't quite the killer hit I was hoping for.
