We chose the ESP32 microcontroller because it is powerful, affordable, and has built-in Wi-Fi, which is perfect for an IoT project. The other hardware parts, like the Hall effect sensors, RGB LEDs, and the real-time clock, are standard components that are easy to find and work with. For the software, we used the Blynk IoT platform. This platform already provides the tools to build a mobile app dashboard, which saves us a lot of time. The project is also practical for users. It only needs a standard 5V power supply, like a phone charger, and a connection to a home Wi-Fi network. A user does not need any special technical skills to use CareBox. They just need to open the lids to take medicine and use the simple Blynk app on their phone to set schedules. #ESP-32 #rtc #iot #iotproject
