Hazrat Abu Ayyub Ansari (RA) was a great Companion (Sahabi) of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ). His original name was Khalid bin Zaid (RA). He had the honor of hosting the Prophet (ﷺ) in his house in Madinah after the Hijrah, which shows his high status in Islam. Hazrat Abu Ayyub Ansari (RA) took part in many battles for Islam and remained devoted to the cause of Islam throughout his life.
