Judge Rene Bumb issues an Order reinstating case to open calendar for the Koonz and Siegel matter to review amending the original complaint. NJ State Police issued new interim training requirements for permit to carry applicants and this new requirement is being challenged. This involves a lawsuit against the State of New Jersey for the new gun legislation enacted in NJ by Governor Phil Murphy. Federal Lawsuit in the United States District Court, District of New Jersey involving Mr. Koontz, Mr. Siegel, the Second Amendment Foundation (SAF), Firearms Policy Coalition, Inc., Coalition of New Jersey Firearm Owners, and the New Jersey Second Amendment Society. The new law is a result of the recent US Supreme Court decision of the NYSRPA v. Bruen case, involving the 2nd and 14th amendments.
