After seeking daily trial proceedings earlier, the accused have now requested that they be physically produced before the court instead of attending hearings via video conference (VC). According to sources, Darshan and the other accused have filed an application stating that they are willing to appear in person for the trial. The move comes shortly after discussions around conducting daily hearings. Legal observers believe that if the trial is held every day and the accused are brought physically to court, it could significantly change courtroom dynamics and media attention. However, the Special Public Prosecutor (SPP) is reportedly preparing strong objections against this request. Earlier, the SPP had argued against daily trial proceedings, citing procedural and logistical concerns.
