First Night Camping in My Self-Built VW Transporter Campervan | Van Life Begins!

After months of working on my self-built VW Transporter campervan, it was finally time to put it to the test. I headed to Hill Farm Caravan and Camping in Barrow on Trent, Derby for my first night in the van. Camping in a self-converted camper is completely different from a tent, and this was my first real experience of van life. My son Josh joined me, camping in his tent, while I got to see how well my DIY camper setup worked overnight. The VW T6 Transporter is one of the most popular vans for camper conversions, and after this first trip, I can see why. But was it as comfortable as I expected? Did everything work as planned? And what would I change before my next trip?
