Draymond Green Will Not Be Suspended For Kick On Steven Adams After hours of deliberations and nail biting for #Warriors fans, the #NBA has announced that #DraymondGreen will not be suspended for his below the belt kick on Oklahoma City's #StevenAdams. According to ESPN's Marc Stein, Green's foul was upgraded to a Flagrant 2, resulting in a fine for the power forward. Sunday, during the Warriors' Game-3 loss, Green was hit with a Flagrant 1 call for kicking Adams in the groin. The move came after Green lost the ball under the rim while being defended by Adams. Of course, the call resulted in the #OKCThunder getting two free throws and possession, while a Flagrant 2 would have resulted in Green being ejected from the game. After the game, Green stated that he was simply following through on a shot and that he didn't "try to kick someone in the midsection.” Monday in a blog post to 'The Undefeated' with Marc Stein, Green contended that the incident was an accident. "I didn’t intentionally kick him down there. Whether he believes me or not, which I don’t think he will and wouldn’t in the moment, which is why I didn’t say anything. I would definitely apologize and I look forward to apologizing to him, if I see him," Green said. The news on Green comes at the tail of a similar incident with Dahntay Jones of the Cleveland Cavaliers. Jones was suspended Monday morning after striking Raptors Center Bismack Biyombo in the groin, leaving many fans to expect a similar fate for Green. Game 4 of the #WCF will take place Tuesday in OKC. The Warriors are currently down 2-1 in the series. What are your thoughts on the league's decision?
