This video is a first impression, group ride, and some review of the 2021 Honda ADV 150 riding with two other motorcycles. I recently purchased the Honda ADV 150 and this is my first substantial journey on it. I’ve only ridden it around the neighborhoods and a few other back roads. This is a true test of how it keeps up with other traffic. ► TREK SHOP (Gear I Use) https://www.amazon.com/shop/trekopolis ► Support TREKOPOLIS (Donations - Wish List) https://www.amazon.com/hz/wishlist/ls... The Honda ADV150 has recently been introduced in the United States and is fully automatic. Meaning, Twist-n-Go! It has the same engine as the Honda PCX150 (150cc), but with a new facelift. The rear suspension has been upgraded and the capable tires are designed for light off-road duties. The ADV150 comes standard with ABS front disk brakes and rear drum brakes. ADV stands for adventure! I apologize in advance for the wind noise. I have improved upon that by configuring the GoPro HERO 6 Black with an adapter and a quality mic. (See other videos) The GoPro is configured with a chest mount so the LCD screen could be viewed more in this particular video. The two motorcycles I am riding with are the Harley Davidson Sportster 883 and Yamaha 650. This was a typical, casual ride and the ADV150 was easily able to keep up. I was surprised how quick the ADV150 is from a stop. From 0-40mph the ADV can ride alongside anything on the road and do very well. From 40-60 there is a steady, climbing process to the acceleration. However, it seems capable of maintaining 50-60mph speeds with steady, controlled effort and doesn’t lose much power on inclines. I would not recommend riding the ADV on highways. It can do it, but you don’t have much extra power after 50mph to accelerate quickly. I personally have no desire to ride this on highways unless I absolutely have to. Again, it’s a choice like anything else. I am over 200 pounds, so someone who is lighter may be able to experience better acceleration. I understand that the ADV150 can reach top speeds of nearly 70mph for some people. Of course, this depends on numerous variables. On average, I would expect to reach top-end speeds of 60-65mph and enjoy the sweet spots of 30-45 (and below) very comfortably. Since this is a brand new bike, I am taking it easy and slowly breaking it in. I’m sure in time it will gain a little more power and I will be able to accomplish slightly higher top-end speeds, but that’s not the intent for this bike. My riding adventures will be strictly back roads and casual, enjoyable jaunts. I am in no hurry in life these days! ⏰CHAPTERS⏰ 0:00 Honda ADV 150 (2021) 0:01 First Impressions 1:13 Harley Sportster 883 Yamaha 650 2:17 This is my first real test on open roads 2:32 Honda ADV150 CVT (transmission) 2:47 Similar to the Honda PCX150 3:01 ADV stands for Adventure 4:08 Chest mount with GoPro HERO 6 Black 5:44 Turning is very easy and the bike is nimble and light 5:55 Weighs less than 300 pounds 7:13 The rear brakes are drum 7:44 Perfect bike for daily commutes and casual back roads 8:20 Braking is easy and straight-forward 8:28 To brake use both levers at the same time 9:55 Designed for light off-road duties 🔸As an Amazon Influencer I earn from qualifying purchases. #motovlog #motorcycle #adventure #harleydavidson #travelvlog #hondaadv150
