Hopes are high that Hyundai will pack its upcoming flagship electric SUV, the Ioniq 7, with segment-first features. The Ioniq 7 should also have features like Level 3 autonomous driving system, Wireless charging, Digital key, V2L, solar roof, etc. The new sub-brand from Hyundai for all-electric vehicles, Ioniq, will see a new flagship in the form of the Ioniq 7 SUV. To be positioned above the Ioniq 5 and 6, the Ioniq 7 is expected to arrive in early 2024 and will be a three-row fully electric mid-size SUV. The Hyundai Ioniq 7 will be based on Hyundai Motor Group’s E-GMP (Electric-Global Modular Platform), which will allow it to have a 350 kW rapid charging support and will have both two-wheel drive and all-wheel-drive configurations. With this setup, this SUV can be charged up to 80 per cent in 18 minutes. The major highlights of the exterior design of the Ioniq 7 include a full-width light bar with parametric pixel LED headlamps, a clamshell bonnet and an upright stance. The Ioniq 7 is expected to get a 100 kWh battery pack, which will provide a maximum driving range of 300 miles (483 km). The AWD versions might come with a two-motor setup with a maximum power output of 230 kW (308 bhp). The Hyundai Ioniq 7, it is expected, will pack in features like level 3 autonomous driving system, wireless charging for battery, use of high-tech and recycled materials in the cabin, advanced infotainment system, digital key, vehicle to load feature, vision roof, virtual mirrors and fingerprint reader.
