When it was built, it had a Construction error that cannot be fixed, shortening the lifespan of this funicular drastically. The elevator brokes very often (Both Before and after KONE modernsied it a Little). Stockholm Stad plans for this elevator to be replaced - by a straight inclined elevator. This funicular will be teared down by next year to make room for the new inclined elevator in 2026.
