I've been spending a lot of time working on the Kolacell level in the PC version of Tom Clancy's Splintercell. I have been learning new things about the engine, and learning how to create and attach new weapons to NPCs, as well as editing and creating new cosmetic layers on NPCs. My goal is to make Kolacell more identical to what it would be if it was released on the PS2. By keeping this goal in mind, I am striving to create a more PS2 aligned version of Kolacell since it reuses a lot of Severonickel assets from the unreleased 3.x missions. I am utilizing some new attachments introduced in the PC version like the NVG headset to give enemies more of an edge, while also not straying too far away from PS2 enemy design. I have replaced all enemy loadouts with traditional AK47s like in the PS2 and given all spetsnaz NPCs their true PS2 counterpart skins in place of the new PC winter variant. I have also made a nice change to Alekseevich and given him a Ushanka like the russians would wear in the PS2 and 3.x mission designs (This is unused in the PC version and is left in the files and data). Many things may be added or changed, I wanted to show a work in progress of my idea for this mod!
