MUNEWARI KAME NO KOH Traditional Japanese body suit in progress by Fil Wood

We started this project in July 2021 and this was session 39 of what will be an approximate total of 42 sessions when it is all finished. In 2021 we began with Nagasode full sleeve designs over some previously lasered tattoos and once they were completed we got started on the Kame No Koh backpiece in February 2022. In March 2023 the back was completed and the next stage was to connect the Hikae chest panels to the back with the traditional Munewari Gobu chest, rib and leg design, which we started in December 2023 My customer has endured all previous sections of his body suit unaided by numbing creams but felt he had earned the right to use the product on some sections of his ribs. I have no issues with customers numbing certain parts of the body but it does complicate the process a little. For this session, the tattoo was still healing from our previous appointment, so some areas had some light scabbing and dry skin. Upon completion of this appointment, we managed to finish all the colour on the right side of the body and only have to colour some sections of the left side to finish the entire project.
