Buying your first kayak can be a little confusing and sometimes even stressful. There is so many different types of kayaks out there in a variety of shapes and styles. In this video I break down my experience on the different types of kayaks and what my wife and I liked, and disliked about each kayak style. We tried a variety of kayaks in a variety of different circumstances before finally settling on which kayaks we wanted to purchase. We have been avid kayakers for a few years but always rented just to try each style out. You don’t have to spend a crazy amount of money or need anything fancy for your first kayak.
