Winter is Here and Brings Challenges to Our Off Grid Cabin Build. Rafters are Up and Roof is Next!

We knew this project wasn't going to be easy at this time of year, but this week was especially a challenge, with the rafters being more complicated than expected, snow removal a daily task, and all other chores (like getting water & keeping generators running) becoming harder and more time consuming. The urgency of getting our cabin roofed cannot be understated! The bright side is that we couldn't be working in a more picturesque environment. When frustrations arise, a quick look around is a reminder of why we came here and how lucky we are to be doing this build.
