The Lynk & Co 900 SUV has been declared the brand's new flagship. The SUV is built on a platform known as SPA Evo, which is essentially an updated version of Volvo's SPA "trolley" platform. The new crossover is the largest model in the Lynk & Co lineup. The Lynk & Co 900 measures 5240 mm in length, 1999 mm in width, 1810 mm in height, and has a wheelbase of 3160 mm. The Lynk & Co 900 retains the brand's signature twin running lights, while the main headlights are enhanced by a prominent matrix panel at the center of the front end. This panel is made up of 10,192 LEDs, each offering 32 levels of brightness. This design allows for three-dimensional animations to be displayed, with images that can be uploaded via the media system. Additionally, the rear lights feature matrix sections, separate from each other, with a total of 2,400 cells. The Lynk & Co 900 features a two-section fifth door, consisting of a large lifting section and a compact drop-down side. The side doors are equipped with closers and electric locks, which can be unlocked from the inside using buttons. The standard package also includes a two-section panoramic roof and an autopilot system, complete with a lidar mounted on the roof. The Lynk & Co 900 boasts a luxurious three-row interior, with all six seats mounted on skids and featuring full electric adjustments. The second-row seats can be moved forward or backward by up to 550 mm, while the third-row seats can adjust within a range of 125 mm. The upholstery is crafted from a combination of suede and nappa leather for a premium feel. The trunk offers 300 liters of space behind the third row, with an additional 20-liter compartment at the front. The front panel of the Lynk & Co 900 features a narrow instrument screen with a nominal diagonal of 12.7 inches, along with a projector and a massive 30-inch 6K resolution touchscreen media system. The same screen is also mounted in the second row, where it folds down from the crossbar between the sections of the panoramic roof. At the end of the central tunnel, there's a pull-out refrigerator tray, and the audio system is provided by Harman/Kardon, ensuring an immersive sound experience. The Lynk & Co 900 SUV is a plug-in hybrid and will be available in three different versions. The base model features a 1.5-liter turbocharged petrol engine paired with two electric motors, delivering a combined output of 761 horsepower. The more premium version also comes with two electric motors, but it is equipped with a 2.0-liter internal combustion engine, producing a total of 734 horsepower. The top-tier version of the Lynk & Co 900 combines the 2.0-liter turbo engine with three electric motors, generating a total output of 857 horsepower. While details on the battery specifications have not been revealed, Lynk & Co has highlighted that the SUV features an adaptive suspension and a "crab" mode. Early estimates suggest that the fastest version can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in approximately 4 seconds. The Lynk & Co 900 is set to launch in the Chinese market later this year, with full technical specifications and pricing to be disclosed closer to the sales debut.
