Epic Overland Adventure Morocco: Figuig to Boudnib. Part 2✨

Epic Overland Adventure in Morocco from Figuig to Boudnib in our self build Expedition camper. In this part of Morocco there are thousands of different tracks to explore. Although we were a little bit worried about the rain and therefore muddy conditions it was a great ride. We combined the tracks of Pistenkuh, Vibraction and a lot of our own tracks just by looking at the map. From Figuig we went west and tried to follow the Moroccan highway R602. Although the police control let us through we find out the highway, which was more a track, was flooded so we had to find a different route. We had a wonderful encounter with two old men who warned us about narrow passages and flooded parts of the desert. That is what we thought we understood from the Arabic. Whether it is true we will never know but we are very happy when people help us to avoid getting into trouble. In the direction of Bouafra we follow a track west (TR-OBA) which ended in Anoual. From Bni Tadjite we climbed the nice pass Col de Belkassem. Although not very high it's a technical pass to climb with an expedition camper. Highly recommend. As we're novice on off-road driving with such a big machine every day is like a new adventure. It was our first time to conquer a mountain pass that consisted of large loose rocks. It feels like riding on a moving surface. We are so happy with our 14.OOR20 tires. At 4 bar the tires curl around the rocks so we have maximum grip. If you watch the movie you can see that very well. On the way we met great people. In the desert there is always support from everybody. We tackled this thrilling route in November with our mighty 12-ton MAN HX60 Expedition Truck, complete with our custom-built living unit.
