Wandering the moor for some brown trout

Another great day of wild trout fishing. The Isle of Lewis is one of the few places left where the angler can experience this sort of genuinely wild fishing for brown trout that, for the most part, have been in their lochs since the end of the last ice age. With there being around 1000 trout lochs even the popular ones that are beside the road don't suffer from a lot of fishing pressure and some of the more remote lochs may go years without getting fished. This particular loch might get fished a handful of times in a season, mostly by me, and is a loch that I very much enjoy fishing.
