Here we go northbound on CA SR 99 transitioning to westbound CA SR 58 via the Centennial Corridor and then onto the Westside Parkway. One important note that I think local residents are going to have to realize over time. When getting onto CA SR 99 northbound from Ming Avenue and intending to continue northbound on CA SR 99 to points north such as Delano and Tulare, one does not need to cross the feeder lanes to the left. On this video, you will see three drivers do this. No need. Just up ahead, when you remain in your very right lane, there is a feeder that takes you under the interchange and lets you continue northbound on CA SR 99. For residents of the LA area, this is very similar to getting onto CA SR 134 Westbound from Pacific Avenue. All one has to do is stay in the feeder lanes that transition onto I-5, and on the very right side of the feeder lanes, you can continue west on CA SR 134. All of this is for the purpose of avoiding cross traffic. I think that for the Ming Avenue entrance, if it’s not there already (I haven’t checked), CalTrans needs to put a sign up telling people to stay in their right lane if they want to continue northbound on CA SR 99. High Speed Aspect *The high speed aspect of this video is simply a post-production effect and is only meant to give the viewer a sense of the topography through which the drive is made. This video is not meant to encourage speeding or racing on public roads and highways. Rapid Topography is extremely opposed to speeding, street racing, and to driving under any the influence of any substance. Please always drive in a safe and prudent manner.
