The photography gallery, built in 2018, is the largest photography gallery in the state and features over 50 large format nature photos, up to 8 feet wide. The beautiful hardwood finishes and sweeping views out over Bellingham Bay make the space a sanctuary of natures beauty, enjoyed by thousands of visitors a year. The unique sculpture of an orca whale crashing through the side of the building makes the photography gallery both iconic, and very easy to find. Peter prides himself on creating original work, that is not like the same nature and landscape photos you see over and over. Instead of flying around the world to take the same photos hundreds of other photographers have taken, Peter delves deep into the mountains, forests, beaches, and valleys of Washington, to reveal the tremendous beauty that is rarely seen and is so worth appreciating. His collection features nature photos of Mount Rainier, Adams, Baker, Shuksan, St. Helens and the rest of the Cascade Range and Olympic Mountains. A plethora of waterfall photos, wildflowers, lakes rivers, forests, and trees. There's even a special collection for Nautical for lovers of boat photography. And for every photo sold in the photography gallery, Peter makes a donation that plants 100 trees.
