I shared the Word of God during the 40th Anniversary of the Anglican Church of Kenya (ACK) Diocese of Mt. Kenya Central in Weithaga Church, Murang’a County. 40 years is a significant figure, even in the Scriptures; the years of wandering before entering Canaan, days of floods, and days of Jesus. God is our creator and owner of all; his law and instructions must be followed, and we must be careful to follow him. There was a period in which Isaiah warned Israel against reliance on and alliances with heathen or ungodly people rather than with Jehovah, their God. People did not desire truth; they demanded prophets entertain them with lies and deceit.Their eyes were dull, their eyes were blind, and their hearts were rebellious. When God spoke, they did not hear; they lost their way. God is the way, the truth, and the life. (John 14:6). The steps of a righteous man are guided by GOD.Remember, there are only two ways: to heaven and to hell, and in God, there is no neutrality; it is yes or no, hot or cold, and God or the devil. Lukewarm people thrive in sin. (James 1:8). Such a person is double-minded and unstable in all they do. People of God, never operate against God's counsel. Never make plans outside of God's will and God’s Holy Spirit.People who thrive in sin are destined for hell. They depend on man and boast of human strength and the and the power of money. You have to make a choice. The Anglican Church, of which I was raised in and which my mother died, has made remarkable progress and contributed immensely in many sectors. The service was presided over by the Diocesan Bishop Rt.Rev. Dr.Timothy Gichere. Also present were Lands CS Alice Wahome, Mining PS Elijah Mwangi, Muranga Governor Hon Irungu Kang'ata , Area MP Ndindi Nyoro , Murang’a Senator Joe Nyutu, Nominated Senator Veronica Maina, Murang’a County MP Betty Maina, MPs Edwin Mugo (Mathioya), Mary Wamaua (Maragua),Former Mathioya MP Peter Kimari, Retired Fathers of Faith and Anglican Bishops Rtd. Bishop John Mahiaini, Bishop Rt.Rev Isaac Nganga, and Rt.Rev Allan Waithaka, MCAs among others.
