In this video, we explain what side effects you might get after radiotherapy to the pelvis or tummy (abdomen). The side effects you have depend on which part of your body is being treated. They tend to come on gradually as you go through your treatment and for a few weeks afterward. Some people only have mild side effects but for others, the side effects can be more severe.
