Discover your backyard in Australia's Coral Coast... Meet Jo Bumbak from Bumbak's Plantation, a third-generation family owned and operated plantation in the tropical fruit town of Carnarvon. Situated along the Gascoyne Food Trail (commonly, and aptly, referred to as the 'Fruit Loop' drive). Bumbak's pride themselves on their 'no waste' initiatives, working closely with local farmers to produce a range of preserves, ice creams, dried fruits and smoothies to ensure no fruit or vegetable goes to waste! Carnarvon is known as the food bowl of Western Australia, producing 80% of the State's fruit and vegetables, and much of the seafood. It's a slice of paradise that enjoys warm, sunny weather all year, is filled with history, and is surrounded by natural beauty. This is Jo's backyard, and she can't wait to welcome you. When you #WanderOutYonder along the Coral Coast Highway, make sure to take a drive along the Fruit Loop to visit Jo and stop off at plantation roadside stalls to pick up fresh, local produce.
