For more videos please visit my You Tube channel BD ENDOSCOPY    / @bdendoscopy3663   Procedure: Sclerotherapy of fundal varix Indication: Follow up Endoscopy Medication: Under sedation FINDINGS: FOL: Epiglottis, aryepiglotic folds, piriform fossas and vocal cords appear normal. History of CLD, Status: Post EVL 4th sessions and injected by Cyanoacrylate (Endocryl) glue of fundal varix in single session OESOPHAGUS: Multiple interrupted columns of medium varices are seen at the lower half. STOMACH: Features of congestive gastropathy is noted at the body and fundus of the stomach. A fundal varix is noted. Second sessions of (1st in SHL) Sclerotherapy is given by injecting with 2.5ml of Cyanoacrylate (Endocryl) at the base of the fundal varix. DUODENUM: The bulb, post-bulbar area and second part appear normal. BIOPSY: Not taken COMMENTS: Interrupted columns of medium oesophageal varices with fundal varix and congestive gastropathy at Endoscopy. THERAPEUTIC INTERVENTION: Second sessions of Sclerotherapy of fundal varix done. ADVICE: Follow up Endoscopy after three months.
