2 teens stabbed, 1 seriously injured near Huntington Manor Firemen's Fair | News 12

A very popular family-friendly event in Suffolk County took a violent turn last night in Huntington Station. Suffolk County police said two teens were stabbed around 8:50 p.m. near the Huntington Manor Fire Department Firemen's Fair after a group of teenagers and young men got into a fight that escalated. Huntington Manor Fire Chief Brian Christen said the incident happened at the park adjacent to the event and that firefighters on the scene rendered first aid to one of the victims. "We were lucky to be there having this event. Otherwise, I don't know if this individual would have been able to get the help at that time," Christen said. One boy, 14, was stabbed and seriously injured. A second boy, 17, sustained stab wounds not considered life-threatening, according to investigators. Both teens were taken to hospitals for treatment.
