Laser Interstitial Thermal Therapy (LITT): An Emerging Therapy for Brain Tumors

A brain lesion is caused by injured tissue or disease in the brain, such as a brain tumor. For some patients with brain lesions, surgical methods and medicines may not be enough as an effective treatment. Laser interstitial thermal therapy (LITT) is a new emerging therapy that uses heat to treat brain lesions. This new technology has already been used in more than 3,000 patients in the U.S. and Canada. Learn more about LITT in the ABTA’s free educational webinar presented by Paul J.
