CO Winter Weekend: Starlighting, Skiing, Hiking, and Christkindl Market

How to spend the perfect winter weekend in Colorado: First we hiked at Waterton Canyon in Littleton, CO. Usually you are able to spot big horn sheep on this trail -- but we only saw deer when we were there. Then we went to Castle Rock, Colorado’s town star lighting. This cute town truly felt like it was straight out of a Hallmark Christmas movie. Next, we skied at Keystone Resort in Colorado’s Rocky Mountains. There were hardly any trails open in mid/late November but the snow was still pretty good and we had a blast getting out on the slopes for the first time this season. Lastly, we went to Denver, Colorado’s Christkindl Market. This European style Christmas market is full of tasty treats, delicious warm beverage, adorable artisan shop pop ups, and cozy vibes.
