Loccie Shmula came up on Bristol Street but in September 2013 while walking his 16-month old son in a stroller, rivals to the G-Stone Crips attempted to shoot him, instead fatally shooting his baby son, Antiq Hennis. Despite the father testify in court the DA still prosecuted the case. Daquan Breland, of Brownsville, was convicted of second-degree murder and second-degree criminal possession of a weapon following a jury trial. The other defendant, Daquan Wright of East New York, was convicted of second-degree criminal possession of a weapon.
