Anterior shoulder dislocation is the most common type of dislocation and needs immediate reduction. Any joint dislocation is an Orthopedic emergency. It was the first episode of dislocation for this patient and surprisingly he had no history of trauma or jerk. We gave him mild sedatives and muscle relaxants and reduced the joint using traction counter traction technique with me milking the head of the humerus back in position.
