The perfect camper van experience

We camped in our VW T5 California camper van at a lovely little campsite called Marl Barn, on the edge of Gisburn forest up above the Forest of Bowland, on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales national park. A mooch around the forest with a Thermos flask of soup made for the perfect dog walk and then headed back to the completely empty campsite (which we've never experienced before) for beer, a campfire in the snowpeak fire pit and some grub. We had completely clear skies and with this being a dark sky area, the stars were out in abundance, along with several satellites. Not a breath of wind, complete silence in this rural setting made for the perfect camping experience. The next morning however, storm Ashley arrived and sent us home early with strong gusts and heavy rain! This is a quick and brief video for us as we'd planned last minute, sent home early by the storm and with us moving house in the near future, knew we had stuff to do at home.
