Today I'm taking you along to see how I set up my sim rig as well as the thought process behind my purchases. I have never drifted in my life and I figured it was time to learn. I know it's not the same as in real life due to not feeling any G-forces, but I truly believe it's great to work up to a sort of muscle memory of how to handle the steering wheel when drifting. If you wanna do some drifts online lemme know! The essential AC drifting guide: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/... On the 'guide' page you'll find everything you need. My sim setup: Custom built steel frame Thrustmaster TS-XW base Thrustmaster T-LCM pedals Thrustmaster TH8A shifter Generic USB handbrake Custom 3D printed adapter for any 70mm pcd steering wheel While this is the top of the line what Thrustmaster has to offer, I believe there is a cheaper way to get into sim drifting. If you want the cheapest belt driven, proven setup you should look into the following parts: Thrustmaster TX base Thrustmaster T3PA pedals Those 2 can be found in bundles too. And the rest the same as me, sometimes you can get the TH8A shifter together with the T3PA "PRO" version pedals in a bundle for less if you buy the TX base on its own.
