Hsipaw station, on the facinating journey from Mandalay to Lashio, in the Shan States of Myanmar (Burma). In this video we watch the 132-DN train leave, at 09:30 for, Myanmar, having left Lashio at 05:00 eariler that morning, and sheduled to arrive in Mandalay 21:15. We see lots going on on the platform in preparation for the journey, take a look around the station and tracks. We then see the arrival of the 132-DN train at 09:20. Both trains are pulled by Chinese CNR locomotive, No 2079 and 2078, maufactured by Dalian Locomotive & Rolling Stock Co. Ltd., which had a 2000 hp CAT engine. A facinating place to while away some time and watch daily life!
