The construction time was two and a half years, but with a few interruptions. It is difficult to estimate the time required, but it was around 700 hours each time. Only a three-sided view and many photos from the Internet were available for the construction. The three-sided view was, however, very high quality and was created by the current operator of the Boomerang, Tres Clement. Tres is a former employee of Burt and helped build the Boomerang 28 years ago. The CAD data from Tres has now arrived. Unfortunately a little too late. This data would have saved Erwin several weeks of work. Special features: This model is, like the original, the only existing aircraft of this type. Die Bauzeit betrug zweieinhalb Jahre aber mit einigen Unterbrechungen. Der Zeitaufwand ist schwer abzuschätzen, aber es waren jeweils circa 700 Stunden. Zum Bau waren nur eine drei Seiten Ansicht und viele Fotos aus dem Internet vorhanden. Die drei Seiten Ansicht war allerdings sehr hochwertig und von dem heutigen Betreiber des Boomerang, Tres Clement erstellt. Tres ist ein früherer Mitarbeiter von Burt und hat den Boomerang vor 28 Jahren mit gebaut. Mittlerweile sind die CAD Daten von Tres eingetroffen. Leider etwas zu spät. Diese Daten hätten Erwin einige Wochen an Arbeit erspart. Besonderheiten: Dieses Modell ist, wie auch das Original, das einzig existierende Flugzeug dieses Typs.
